Dr. Dawn Chapin grew up in Davenport and on her family's farm in Camanche. After attending local schools, she enrolled at Michigan State University where she studied Veterinary Medicine. While in college, she met and married her husband, and they have been together since. They moved out east due to his employment to raise their children who are now grown, working, and living out of state.

She finished her 4 year Podiatric medical training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed the rigorous 3 year surgical and clinical residency at One Brooklyn in New York City and became licensed to treat all conditions of the foot and ankle in the State of Iowa.

Dr. Chapin lives at the family farm with her husband who manages it. She opened her Medical Practice in DeWitt to serve the Podiatric needs of local Patients. She is currently accepting new patients. Schedule an appointment today.
